Prepare Your KlickTipp Account
Create Data Fields in KlickTipp
Some templates require specific fields or trigger tags before they can be imported and tested. Create only the elements that are required for the template you want to use.
- For the AI greeting generator: HTML AI greeting (line)
- For the AI Salutation Generator: HTML AI salutation (line)
- For enriching contact data: Create or confirm the existing custom fields that you want the AI workflow to update.
- For managing contact tags: No additional custom field is required.
Create KlickTipp Tags
Some AI templates use a trigger tag to start the workflow. If needed, learn how to create and manage tags in KlickTipp. Create the following tags in KlickTipp before you test these templates.
- HTML AI greeting
- HTML AI salutation
Prepare Test Contacts in KlickTipp
The templates for enrichment and tag management do not require any fixed trigger tags or additional, dedicated fields. We recommend creating one or more test contacts in KlickTipp to safely test updates, enrichment results, and tag actions before going live.
Prepare Make and n8n
Set up your preferred automation platform before importing the templates. In Make, verify that your KlickTipp connection and your OpenAI connection are up and running. In n8n, configure the KlickTipp and OpenAI credentials and confirm that the KlickTipp community nodes are installed and available.
For enrichment and tag management workflows, also prepare realistic test data, such as a contact email address, context text, or sample tag instructions.
Import, Configure, and Test the Templates
Use the template sections below to import the correct workflow, test it with sample data, and then activate it for live operation.
Make: AI Greeting Generator for Email Messages via OpenAI and KlickTipp
Use the pre-built Make template to generate a reusable greeting for a KlickTipp contact and save it in the field → HTML AI greeting : AI greeting generator for email communication via OpenAI and KlickTipp.
After importing the template, connect the KlickTipp trigger, the OpenAI steps, and the KlickTipp update modules. Assign the tag → HTML AI greeting to a test contact for email messages and run the scenario once. Verify that the workflow saves the generated greeting to the Greeting field and that the fallback behavior works correctly if the first name (first-name) or gender confidence is low.
Once the tests are complete and the output quality is satisfactory, activate the scenario in Make and monitor the first live runs. If necessary, adjust the threshold logic, the fallback phrasing, or the prompt instructions.
n8n: AI Greeting Generator for Email Messages via OpenAI and KlickTipp
Use the pre-built n8n workflow to generate a reusable greeting for a KlickTipp contact and save it in the field → HTML AI greeting : AI Greeting Generator for Email Messages via OpenAI and KlickTipp.
After importing the workflow, connect the KlickTipp trigger, the OpenAI nodes, and the KlickTipp update nodes. Test the workflow with a tagged contact and check both branches: one for contacts with an existing first name and one for contacts whose first name must be derived from the email address. Make sure the final greeting is saved correctly in KlickTipp.
Once you’re satisfied with the results, activate the workflow in n8n and review the first live runs. Refine the thresholds or the prompt wording if you want more or less personalized results.
Make: AI Salutation Generator for Email Messages via OpenAI and KlickTipp
Use the pre-built Make template to generate a reusable salutation for a KlickTipp contact and save it in the field → HTML AI salutation : AI Salutation Generator for Email Messages via OpenAI and KlickTipp
After importing the template, configure the trigger so that the scenario starts when the tag → HTML AI salutation is applied. Connect OpenAI for salutation generation, verify the salutation quality filter, and ensure that the final KlickTipp update step saves the output to the salutation field. Then test the scenario with a sample contact.
Once the tests are complete, activate the scenario in Make and monitor the first few runs. If the salutation style is too formal, too generic, or not consistent enough, adjust the OpenAI prompt or the quality threshold.
n8n: AI Salutation Generator for Email Messages via OpenAI and KlickTipp
Use the pre-built n8n workflow to create a reusable salutation for a KlickTipp contact and save it in the field → HTML AI salutation : AI Salutation Generator for Email Messages via OpenAI and KlickTipp.
After importing the workflow, connect the KlickTipp trigger, the OpenAI node, the quality filter, and the KlickTipp update node. Apply the trigger tag to a test contact and verify that the generated salutation is saved in the correct field in KlickTipp.
Once you’re satisfied with the result, activate the workflow in n8n and monitor the first live runs. Fine-tune the prompt or the threshold if you want to achieve more consistent results.
Make: Enrich KlickTipp Contact Data with an AI Agent
Use the pre-built Make template to enrich existing KlickTipp contacts using AI-powered updates based on an email address and additional contextual information: KlickTipp contact field enrichment via the Make AI Agent.
After importing the template, review the steps → AI Contact Enrichment Agent, → Get KlickTipp Contact and → Update KlickTipp Contact. Map only the fields you want the workflow to enrich. Test the scenario with an existing contact and realistic context text, then verify in KlickTipp that only the intended fields have been updated.
Once the tests are successful, activate the scenario in Make and monitor the first few runs. If the workflow makes too many or too few updates, refine the instructions for the AI or limit the mapped fields.
n8n: Enrich KlickTipp Contact Data with an AI Agent
Use the pre-built n8n workflow to enrich your existing KlickTipp contacts with AI-powered field updates: KlickTipp Contact Data Field Enrichment via AI Agent.
After importing the workflow, check the Input → Email + Context, the AI Agent node, the → Get contact in KlickTipp node, and the → Update contact in KlickTipp node. Test the workflow with an existing contact and realistic source context. Verify in KlickTipp that only the selected, mapped fields have been enriched.
Once you’re satisfied with the results, activate the workflow in n8n and review the first live runs. Refine the prompt or reduce the number of mapped fields if you want more conservative updates.
Make: Manage KlickTipp Contact Tags with the GPT-5-Mini AI Agent
Use the pre-built Make template to manage tags for an existing KlickTipp contact with AI support: Manage KlickTipp contact tags with the GPT-5-mini AI agent.
After importing the template, review the AI tag management agent and its KlickTipp actions for loading contacts, listing tags, creating tags, tagging contacts, and removing tags from contacts. Test the scenario with an existing contact and simple instructions such as adding, removing, or creating a tag.
Once testing is complete, activate the scenario in Make and monitor the first live runs. If you want more reliable behavior in production, restrict the creation or deletion logic and use conservative instructions.
n8n: Manage KlickTipp Contact Tags with the GPT-5-Mini AI Agent
Use the pre-built n8n workflow to manage KlickTipp contact tags using natural language commands: Manage KlickTipp contact tags with the GPT-5-mini AI Agent.
After importing the workflow, check the input trigger, AI orchestration, structured output parsing, read-only KlickTipp tools, and write actions for creating, applying, and removing tags. Test the workflow with an existing contact email and simple tagging instructions, then verify the final tag status in KlickTipp.
Once you’re satisfied with the results, activate the workflow in n8n and monitor the first live runs. If necessary, restrict more powerful actions—such as extensive deletions—to ensure the workflow remains predictable in production.
