Examples
With an analytics report, you always have your key metrics at a glance. You can quickly see what’s working—and what you can still improve. Use the reports to make informed decisions and further optimize your email marketing. This way, you can strategically refine your strategy—step by step.
Here are three concrete and practical examples of how you can use analytics reports in your business:
1. Compare the trends in your product sales
You can see how well your products are selling over a specific period by comparing the corresponding customer tags side by side in a report. (e.g., as an online store: Compare sales figures for “Product A: Summer Dress” vs. “Product B: Winter Jacket” over the course of the year)
2. Measure the success of your email campaigns
Use SmartTags in your report to see exactly how many contacts received a specific campaign and how many of them actually clicked the link in the email. (e.g., as a coach: Measure how many recipients opened the “Webinar Invitation” email and how many clicked the “Webinar Registration” SmartLink)
3. Monitor Lead Generation from Various Sources
If you collect leads through different channels, you can consolidate the tags from these sign-up forms into a single report and see at a glance which channel is currently generating the most traffic. (e.g., as an advertising agency: Evaluate new customer acquisition via “Form: Facebook Ads” vs. “Form: Website” in a monthly comparison)
