Step-by-Step Instructions

Prerequisites

  • KlickTipp account with API access: Make sure you have a Premium subscription or higher so that you have access to the API.
  • Make account: Make sure you have a Make account.
  • Perspective account: You need to have an active Perspective account along with set up and published funnels.

Import Make Scenarios, set up Authentication, create & test KlickTipp Outbound

  • Create the necessary scenario via our import link and follow the wizard or → Guided Setup  or import the template and adjust it manually using the following steps.

If you follow the wizard/guided setup, you can continue from step 4. If you prefer to set it up manually, you can simply continue with step 2.

Set up Perspective Module

  • Click on the module and open the settings.
  • Create a new webhook and name it or select an existing one.
  • Enter your Perspective API key under → Connection  and log in to Facebook to perform the authentication.
    • To do this, log in to your Perspective Dashboard and open your funnel. Click on Apps in the top menu and select the Make option. Click on Connect to generate a new API key and copy it.
  • Under → Funnel,  select the page you created in Perspective
  • Complete the setup by clicking on → Save .

KlickTipp - Set up Add or Update Contact Module

  • Click on the KlickTipp module and open the settings.
  • Enter your access data under → Connection  and log in to KlickTipp with your user name and password to carry out the authentication.
  • Now assign the appropriate parameters from the Facebook module to the fields of the KlickTipp module by clicking in the empty fields and dragging and dropping the element there.
  • Under → Tag  you define which KlickTipp tag is assigned to the contact when it is entered. You can use this tag to control automations or for contact segmentation in KlickTipp.
  • In our example, we assign the Facebook lead data to the appropriate KlickTipp fields:
    • Last name → First name
    • Email → Email address

Test and Activation

  • Save the scenario and activate the Make scenario using the On button. Then carry out a test run.
  • Create a test entry via your Perspective.
  • Check in KlickTipp whether the contact was transferred correctly.

Summary

With this integration, you can automatically transfer leads from Perspective to KlickTipp in real time. This allows you to start your email marketing immediately or trigger targeted campaigns. Then use all KlickTipp functions such as tagging, segmentation and automated campaigns to optimally manage your leads.
